This is the part stripped view inside the car. The carpets on the passenger side were slightly damp & I discovered that the fibreglass & the metal part of the floor pan had separated allowing water to enter the car, This was easily remedied using fibreglass matting & some silicone sealant

These are the vinyl trim pieces that fit around the headlining The piece that fits above the front screen is clearly visible-it also houses the sun visors & the interior light. The piece that covers the rear of the headlining above the heated rear screen is also there with the slots that houses the grilles for the through flow ventilation system. All these trim pieces are hand made of aluminium & covered by foam & then matching vinyl & the headlining itself is made in three layers canvas thin foam layer & the same matching vinyl. I am using Evo-Stik Timebond adhesive as a contact adhesive that allows a little time for adjustment & repositioning. Normal contact adhesives are difficult to apply especially if the material is absorbent whereas Timebond is a jelly like material which is easily applied because of its consistency. l also like the option of some degree of movement rather than only one chance of getting complicated shapes in the exact place first time every time.

These are just a few of the interior pieces that were replace All carpets are new & were made by Coverdale Carpets Ltd of Atherton Lancs. They proved themselves to be a capable, reliable & helpful company especially with my requests to use the original leather edging trim from the original carpet set Getting a match to original for the carpet was not possible so I had to have some new carpet made & dyed to match the original colour. Considering the small quantity i wished to order the price was more than acceptable & I am extremely happy with the result.
