We aim to be a church that offers:
Prayer.
Our church is rooted in prayer
Prayer for all, internationally, nationally, for our towm, for others, for our church and for ourselves. We aim to respond to injustice and offer mercy, and through this prayer we expect to make a difference in this God’s world.
Worship
Using a variety of styles, both traditional and modern at different days and times we aim to make worship an experience appropriate for all ages. Encouraging congregational involvement, and experimenting with different forms
Learning and caring
We aim to encourage learning opportunities through small groups, away days, various discipleship training so discovering our God given gifts. Through our Pastoral Care programme we aim to strengthen the bonds between all who come in through our doors and those in the community. We aim to provide support to all at all times.
Service
We feel called to be good neighbours to all and to challenge injustice. We will work with other churches and agencies where possible but branch out on our own if we feel it right to do so, and provide activities which are appropriate for the needs of the community.
Evangelism
We aim to equip and encourage members to feel confident about sharing their Christian faith in natural ways, to reach out to people to help them discover their real needs and to experience God’s love for them. We should be constantly available to God and take advantage of the opportunities he presents to us.
To be a church where all are welcomed, loved and cared for
