The Haddenham bracket clock is 31 cm wide, 52 cm tall and 23 cm deep. The eight day pendulum movement is spring driven with triple chimes (Westminster, Whittington and St Michael). The chimes may be individually selected and there is also a selectable automatic night silence facility. The dial is fitted with a moving moon disc in the arch that shows the moon's phases. The solid oak case has perforated brass 'frets' in the sides, backed with crimson silk. It also has a raised panel back door so that it looks attractive from all aspects and does not need to be placed against a wall. One extra little refinement is a small drawer in the base for the key, finished off with a little brass knob. |
