rule was made for the Open University by Fearns
Calculators of Dunston, Gateshead. It was issued to
students on the second level course TM281 Modelling by
Mathematics. The C and D
scales are 113 mm in diameter, giving them each a length
of 355 mm (or 14 inches). In standard slide rule notation
the scales on the front (from the outside inwards) are
D
[C B] A S T.
These designations are not used,
but instead the following labels are used.
