The Death Squad were founded solely in an effort to avenge a previous team of Skaven who were reduced to a single man and his coach, by a rookie Goblin Blood Bowl team. The coach was livid after the match and dragged a bunch of yokels off to the blood bowl pitch. The first match was a roaring success with arm and legs flying everywhere. Being forced to withdraw from their swill, the new recruits were forced to continually play in an attempt to hone their skills at the game. The actual members today consist of ruffians picked up in a local drinking hole, ably assisted by the single remaining member of the original team. The team are driven by a single goal, be it a quite bizarre one, but they have a vendetta against the team that lost the coach his original team, they have a desire to kill, they want vengeance for the slaughter, they want to defeat that same goblin team.... |
