Our course and tuition days are a great way for you to learn how to use your camera and get the chance to shoot in a professional studio with professional published male & female models.

We run two one-day courses each month allowing a maximum of six attendees on each course ensuring each pupil our best attention at all times.

You will learn the basics of operating a digital SLR camera and lighting techniques that will simply blow your imagination wide open. We cover many subjects throughout the day including Adobe Photoshop, posing techniques, interacting with and making your subject feel at ease whilst being photographed, expression techniques, model direction and so much more!

Our courses usually take place on Sundays and run from around 10:00am - 4:30pm with an hour break for a light lunch which we provide. We also have 10 minute tea breaks throughout the day to keep you going.

Much of what you will learn at our one day courses you can apply such techniques to any photographic subject in or out of the studio. Our past delegates always keep in touch with us at capture to show us their progress, we enjoy seeing our course attendees progress so what starts at a one day course turns into a mentoring relationship, we are always happy to assist and advise our attendees after their course.

Rest assured on the course day you are in the hands of a true professional our resident photographer is qualified to teach photography and holds a degree in the field of photography with a string of celebrity subjects and many high street stores as clients we feel our courses offer that little bit more than most.

We do ask all attendees to bring along their own digital SLR camera and any lenses they may have, you will also need to bring along a memory card and fully charged batteries for your camera, it also helps if you have an external flashgun.

We are also able to offer one-to-one tuition on all aspects of photography and image manipulation, rates start at £25 per hour minimum of 2 hours. We also have a model register if you would like one-to-one tuition using a professional model call us to discuss rates.
