| Nice Murphoid! The A122M was brought out because a lot of Murphy dealers looked
at the A122, decided they'd never manage to sell something that looked so odd, and refused to order any.
The A122M has toned down styling, but the same innards. The A122M is still the rare one, though, so you
could argue that Murphy were right about the original A122. This particular A122M is pretty much perfect
and untouched. There is a moan though. Just under the right hand edge of the dial opening is a scratch
in the polish (see photo). There really isn't anything else to moan about. It's got a nice coat of dust
over the innards. This one is very original and will make a really nice restoration project. I have to admit
that I don't rate Murphoids as highly as many people do, but I do think this is a very nice set which
needs a good home. In fact, I've never seen a nicer A122M, and I've seen a lot of Murphoids in my time.
