This Alumni has been founded by ex-President Iain Rollason-Hill and ex-Captain Jeff Vincent (1995 - 1999 era). For many years Jeff, myself and Kevin Ayles have discussed an Alumni to keep people in touch and a poor excuse to wear horrible blazers and possibly get back into a boat all in aid of supporting and developing BUBC rowing.

A core group has always kept in touch somehow (now easier with the powers of the tinterweb) but never got together formally and events such as Henley to celebrate old times and BUBC Rowing successes.

Through the hard work of past members and the continuity provided by Head Coach Kevin Ayles recruited in 1996, BUBC now competes regularly at Henley Royal Regatta and has a growing reputation among their rowing peers and we should celebrate and support the club further....

Hence the formation of BUBC Alumni, please get involved and spread the word. I look forward to seeing some of you by the waters edge, in a bar or in lycra!
