|
Jonny Morris |
Matt Kirshen |
Paul Sinha |
Jonny returns by popular demand although we should point out he's not in anyway associated with penguins. Paul is rumoured to be the only overweight Bengali GP working the comedy circuit, and his distinctive act has already taken him to Television.

Tuesday 5th July 2005 Open Mic Night - 9.00PM until Midnight
|
Josie Long |
Open Mic Spot |
Seymour Mace |
For one night only the astounding Gob Akimbo Open Microphone spot returns. If you want a chance to try your luck at a bit of stand up call 01584 875362 for details of how to enter. Moral support will be provided by Brian Damage and Krysstal. At 17 Josie won the 1999 BBC NEW COMEDY AWARD, if you saw her last year you'll know she's devastatingly daft. She's more tangential than an orange farm. Seymour is a brilliant comedian, crackling with childish energy. A performer worth the admission price alone. Edinburgh Fringe 'Most Promising Act' Award-winner, and City life comedian of the Year 2003.

|
Kevin Dewsbury |
Shazia Mirza |
Nick Revell |
Since Kevin escaped to the mystic land of Huddersfield he has become a popular act and MC. The Evening Standard says he's "Lightning fast", we agree. Shazia was Jongleurs Female Comedian of the Year in 2002, Best New act of London in 2001, regularly appears on television and gigs all over the world with an act that "Sticks the knife into political correctness with hilarious effect" (Evening Standard). An almost permanent comic fixture at the BBC, Nick is so funny that he's been able to lavish his material on the likes of Dave Allen, Rory Bremner, Jasper Carrot, Bob Monkhouse and Michael Moore. Cripes!
