There are still places at the Olney Drama Club which starts on the 9th September at the new Ousedale School in Olney and runs every Tuesday night - 5.00pm to 7.00pm- for those aged 8 - 17 years.

The 2 hour sessions will involve movement and voice exercises and then develop, through theatre games, into an exploration of drama skills and techniques. The course is designed to help with self confidence and expression in all aspects of life (not just drama) whilst having a great deal of fun. This year the 2nd hour will be for The Olney Pantomime which all students will be invited to be part of.

Olney Panto 2008

Members of the Drama Club with invited guests will be performing Treasure Island - the Pantomime at the Carlton House Club, formerly the Olney Working Men's Club, from 18th to 20th December 2008.

Thurday 18th December at 7.00pm
Friday 19th December at 7.00pm
Saturday 20th December at 3.00pm and 7.00pm

Tickets are £6.50 and £4.50 concessions.

Drama Club Dates and costs

Each session of 2 hours is £10 per person.
Winter term 2008 - 14 weeks (9/9 - 9/12).
Each term to be paid in advance (can be split into 2 payments, one for each half of term). 

The Staff

The main core of teaching staff are:
Keith Hargreaves - Actor (trained at Bruford College Of Speech and Drama).
Anna Wingerath - BA in broadcasting.
David Pibworth - Director/performer - Directors Guild Of Great Britain and Equity.

All staff running the course have enhanced CRB checks and the group is fully insured as ratified by Milton Keynes Borough Council.
