Truespace Introduction
For those of you who don't know, Truespace is a 3D graphics package. It can deal with diffuse light (radiosity) as well as reflected light (raytraced) so we can make images with more than just chrome balls and mirrors as you see produced with many other packages.

I use Truespace for a lot of Web graphics (like the bendy pipe shape surrounding this page) because the spline functions (similar to those found in Flash and Fireworks) can be combined with other features such as directional lighting, depth cue shading, fogging, etc.

Have a look at some graphics produced in Truespace.

Truespace can also be used to produce animations and video sequences and has a number of sophisticated tools for video production.

If you are just starting out in the world of 3D rendering, go to the Caligari site, a lot of links can be found here for all manner of resources, very good indeed.
