Also, they didn't tend to get downloaded much, so they got removed in this version.
The most used ones I made were the CD and Email logos below. (saw the email one on a couple of sites, nicked from me of course, but thanks)
Anisotropic (?) shading is all the CD employs but works just fine. Just use a texture map for the label side (with anisotropic shading too) and a light blue for the data side and off you go.
A bit of playing around gets the result here......
I had used Merrian Websters on-line dictionary a number of times and thought as a nice gesture, I would give something back. With this in mind I quickly put together an animated CD with their logo on for them to use for their CD link.
I sent it to them in an Email saying they could have this image for free and use it how they saw fit.
The result? They didn't believe there wasn't a catch and continued to use their old version (which was badly put together) until they redid their whole site.
It's a cynical world folks.
