Welcome to the Mycoon Maine Coons website, we are a mad but happy cat house. Maine Coons always have the say around our house, they can talk better than my children. They love children and other pets, and are extremely affectionate. We breed nice healthy Maine Coon kittens, with an absolutely sweet laid back nature. They are not nervous or unfriendly in anyway, we pride ourselves with that.
The Maine Coon cat is about 200 years old and comes from America, originally it was named The Coon cat. This came about because people believed that a wild cat mated with a raccoon, hence the big bushy tail. But this is not true in any way, eventually in later years The Coon cat became The Maine Coon. Farmers liked having them on their farms as they kept vermin down, and because of their affectionate nature started to introduce them into the farm house.
Maine Coon cats are the largest domesticated cats in the world, and in my opinion the most loving, talkative, playful, and intelligent breed of all breeds. They are addictive one is never enough, Maine Coons are well socialised and crave plenty of human companionship. They will eat just about anything but always make sure they have plenty of fresh water, as Maine coons are renown for their love of water.
We breed healthy Maine Coon kittens, they come Registered fully Vaccinated and Insured for the first 6 weeks from date of sale. I also supply kitten packs courtesy of Royal Canin Pet Foods.
