In summer 2005, I walked along The Anglo-Scottish Border from east to west. The book The Border - A History in 10½ Chapters was published in 2007. The talk consists of a short historical introduction to the Border and the story of how it developed over the centuries. Then I will take you on a tour of the Border from Berwick to Gretna, using a Powerpoint presentation with some of the photographs of interesting places and features which I took on the way.
This talk lasts anywhere between 30 minutes to 1 hour and can be tailored to your requirements.
