In summer 2003, I walked along Hadrian's Wall from east to west. The book The Great Wall of Britain was first published in 2004 with a second edition due in Spring 2007.The talk consists of a short historical introduction to the Wall and its purpose. Then I will take you on a tour of the Wall from Wallsend to Bowness, using a Powerpoint presentation with some of the photographs of interesting places and features which I took on the way.
