Ok most of the time I get
the better of them and they're soon killed but just the other day I was pounced
upon with low stam but I decided to see the fight out which I might say was
going rather well until..whats this I am now being attacked by a player as well.
Talk about taking the Morlocs. Well as you can appreciate I did the best
thing... run like hell quit and sat in the tea room and moped.
After this little meeting
with an ape I made sure I was in top shape as much I could, although I did start
to wonder why an ape would need the painting & other interesting objects in
its possession. Was it really an ape or was it a higher magic user that was
masquerading as an ape?
As time went on I killed
more apes without much incident, all be it with a little help from other players
when bash night was on. But just the other day I was doing my usual exploring
using an unwanted persona, when I ran into an Ape. As I wanted to get rid of the
persona I thought I'd let the ape do its best and waited for the ape to move
first.
Let me be the first one to
say that I am No doctor dolittle but... the ape said hello!. Could my previous
suspicious be true. I played along. I said "hello" and waved. (memo to
Morloc: Waving to Apes is definitely the 1st sign of madness!). Suddenly I am
forced to have the urge to kiss the ape - 60 points for me Hmm...and now I'm
dribbling.. another kiss and - 60 points (Why an ape should make me dribble is
beyond me, maybe someone can enlighten me)
Tale Interlude:
Talking of apes and mobiles I was just thinking the other day that its a pity
you cant catch and train them. Its a shame there aren't any horses in the stable
either I've always fancied riding into battle on a white horse with sword
waving. Still I could always try and catch the ox although I don't think it
would have the same impact.
Talking of horses, the Inn keeper told me a funny story yesterday
regarding a champion and a horse. He told me that he was busy cleaning up the
bar after Cat had one of his mad drinking nights when he saw through the window
a champ ride up , dismounted and tie his horse to the railing outside.
He then went round the back of the horse, lifted its tail and kissed its
backside!
Well, when he entered the bar, the Inn keeper said "why in
gandalfs name did you do that!?"
The champion replied "Chapped
lips"
The Inn Keeper looked and questioned "Does it cure it then ?"
and the Champion replied "No , but it stops me licking them!" <gg><lol>.
I'm sure there's a motto here but for one
reason or another I don't really want to go there!
Interlude over: Where was I, Oh yes either this Ape REALLY likes me
or someone is playing games with me, but what the heck I enjoy a good laugh and
so I acted as though "Morloc gets hold of the monkey mask and puts it on"!
Well I thought this was funny but obviously the ape/whoever didn't and so the
fight began. It wasn't so much as a fight, more like an execution. Although
blinding me and crippling me was a bit over the top but I supposed he/she
enjoyed it. And so the battle was over and the "not updating persona"
presented itself to me.
So as you can see I don't like apes at the
best of times but when there in league with or actually high level magic users
then I have only one thing to say , and that's "Don't make a monkey of
them! "<gg> You wait til I'm Wiz I going to walk around as King Kong
and hang on the side of the keep swatting dragon flies. (wishful thinking I
think!)
Enough of this monkeying about I'm off to lace that banana in
the dish with wolfsbane. cya Morloc
