| BACKGROUND |
Cheadle Lions is now nearly 20 years old. It
is part of the worlds largest community service organisation - the
International Association of Lions Clubs, with a total membership of 1.4
million over 181 nations. |
| MEETINGS | Cheadle
Lions meet at the Manor Hotel , Cheadle on the first Tuesday of every
month for a business meeting to discuss club projects and activities.A
social meeting, usually including family and friends is held on the 3rd
Tuesday or to suit the event.Other meetings for welfare and activity
projects may be held during the month. |
| OBJECTIVES |
Our objectives are summed up in the Lions motto
"We Serve" We serve the local community in and around Cheadle |

Evening

Typical projects include The Lions Show, an
evening of entertainment for Cheadle's pensioners
Building a float for
Cheadle Festival
Financial help to local and national causes. |
