Travelogue of our fascinating tour

Immediately after retiring George & Valerie rented out their house in England, flew to the USA and purchased a 37 foot recreational vehicle (RV) and tow car, so providing us with the means to explore a whole new world. The result was a fascinating tour that lasted nearly three years.


We toured 43 of the lower 48 states as well as spending two months in Mexico, then during 1998 we made a truly memorable four month visit to Canada and Alaska. This travelogue also includes an interesting account of a mid tour visit to South Africa and other special events. Our touring which ended in November 1998 is chronicled within these pages with extracts from our diary and photo albums.
