Reflections on Sight

By Zoe Wilson

I like petals sitting on a flower
I like lions sitting in the dark
I like dolphins diving in the water.

I like sea lions yelping for fish
I like beach balls bouncing all around
I like sunset when it goes all pink
I like shapes especially when they are round.

I like wood lice scattering around
I like songs because of the melody
I like birds fluttering around
I like blossom when it’s pink and white.

I like snow when it trickles down
I like ducklings treading on the ground
I like butterflies flying in the sky
I like birthday cakes
I like rings sparkling in the sun.

 Sight

By Lauren Oastler

I like seeing fish eating food
I like seeing lions sitting in the sun
I like seeing multicoloured pictures
I like seeing sea lions sleeping on the beach
I like seeing the sun set
I like seeing birds’ nests
I like tigers roaring as loud as they can
I like seeing butterflies fluttering in the sky
I like seeing confetti when it’s scattered down
I like seeing dogs eating bones
I like seeing furry ducklings
I like seeing zebra stripes
I like seeing white blossom
I like seeing skeletons
I like seeing people’s hair
I like seeing little babies
I like seeing the sun coming out
I like seeing coloured cars
I like seeing snow falling down
I like seeing hair bands
I like seeing fierce sharks
I like seeing every shape
I like seeing puppy dogs
I like seeing Birthday cakes
I like seeing pretty ear rings like seeing squares
I like seeing everything in the world!

 Reflections on My Baby Sister

By Oliver Warren

I don’t like to hear her cry because it’s
Sooooooooooooo noisy
But I do like it when she has a big cheesy smile
On her face
I like the smell of talcum powder
I don’t like what she eats
I like to hold her because she feels nice.
