Reflections on my Cat

By Tom Wales

My cat purrs and swishes his tail
He smiles a big smile
And he died
But that doesn’t matter
Because I remember his purr and his tail.

 Listening for sounds

By Georgia Jilley

 Listening for the waves splashing
Everywhere
All like cats purring
In the air
Violets swaying in the air
Silent, silent
Like a bay full of air.
Purr, purr, its silent meow
Just like a wonderful bow-wow.
Eccc, ecc diving dolphins having so much fun
Once again ecc eccc.
Chat, chat, chattering mums
Who are eating beautiful buns.
