Reflections on leaving Haughley School

By Molly Cook

I’m a big fish in a little pond
But I’m going to be a
Little fish in a big pond.
I’m a big fish now because I’m a year Four
But I’m going to be a little fish in Year’ Five.
At the moment, I am one of the tallest
But I will be one of the smallest...at the bottom.
At the moment I am one of the noisiest
But will I be noisy at Bacton?
As I am a big fish, all the teachers know me
When I go to Bacton, all the teachers won’t know me.

Haughley Crawfords School Reflections

By Jodie Ibbs

In Haughley Crawfords School, in Haughley Crawfords School
I remember the sound of the children playing
The sound of the piano
I remember the feel of the school jumper
The feel of the white board - so smooth
I remember the taste of the chips in the school dinner
The taste of water that I didn’t like
I remember the smell of the cooked dinner
The smell of grass on the playing field
I remember when I see Miss Elliott
When I see my friends
That’s what I will remember.

 Haughley Crawfords School Reflections

By George Oastler

Heard a sound in the playground, the playground, the playground.
Heard a sound in the playground.
Race you, bet you. That’s what I heard in the playground.

Heard a sound in the playground, the playground, the playground.
Heard a sound in the playground.
Race you, bet you, I won. That’s what I heard in the playground.

Heard a sound in the playground, the playground, the playground.
Heard a sound in the playground.
Race you; bet you, I won, not fair. That’s what I heard in the playground.

Heard a sound in the playground, the playground, the playground.
Heard a sound in the playground.
Race you, bet you, I won, not fair, cheater. That’s what I heard in the playground.
