Two important facts confirmed by the latest survey
The chart left reveals the fact that a small but very important number of Hum sufferers are either partially or totally deaf.
This evidence refutes a recent press statement by Dr David Baguley Head of Audiology at Addenbrooke’s Hospital Cambridge that only people with very sensitive hearing can hear the Hum.
The evidence also adds to the proof that the Hum has nothing whatever to do with acoustics and sound waves
The lower chart shows once again that most sufferers experience the Hum stronger indoors.
About one fifth of respondents reported the Hum was the same indoors or out, and a small number reported the Hum was stronger outside.
This confirms the fact that buildings play a dominant role in the perceptions of the Hum, a fact that most so-called experts never even mention
