Survey Results
For the past 6 years a survey on this web site has collected information from 220 Hum sufferers
The original intension was to show that the Hum was not just a simple mechanical effect acting on the ear but that an interaction is taking place which effects the whole body.
Combined with comments and other observations the survey revealed 3 types of effect.
Headaches, nausea and general physical discomfort, which, as strange as it may seem, has a strong similarity to motion sickness.
Action on muscles and skin producing pins and needles and tiered aching muscles.
Action on the brain producing insomnia, loss of concentration/memory, strange dreams and hallucinations.
Note, 26% of those who replied had suffered injury to their nerves, either by accident or surgery
The survey has justified the original assumption and thanks is offered to all those who took the trouble to reply.
