La Force is about 4 Km west of Montreal which in turn is about 12 Km west of Carcassonne in the beautiful Aude region of South West France. The village house is on three floors, and is typical of such accommodation. The house opens onto the centre of the village where children play. A large hallway leads through to a kitchen/dining room which is equipped with electric 2 ring cooker plus oven, fridge with small freezer compartment, washing machine, kitchen cabinets and a dining table with 6 chairs. The living room opens off the kitchen and is quite large. Upstairs are two bedrooms, a shower room/toilet and a seperate washroom with bidet. The large grenier (loft) is accessed through one of the bedrooms and may eventually be converted into further sleeping accomodation. Downstairs is a large "cave" or cellar - with a back door opening onto a gravel open area for sitting out etc. Look at the "Photo Gallery" to see pictures of the inside and outside of the house.
