Artist Profile
Welcome to my homepage! My
interests in synthesizer and world music started in 1987.
Influenced by Kitaro, Vangelis and Tangerine Dream, now I
share my music with you with my latest album,
SoundeScapes. It was an amazing adventure to create this
album and I hope it succeeds to express at least some of
the moods and atmospheres that led to these pieces of
music. Please find below a collage from my press
release, containing a description of the music's
background and links to my artist webpages.

One-man band Levente was among the
first artists to close a non-exclusive publishing deal
with the newly established PeopleSound label last year.
The album SOUNDeSCAPES soon became for Levente the
vehicle towards the elite ranks of TheGlobalMuse.com.
The synthesizer album was inspired by the experiences
accumulated during the numerous mountain treks in
Transylvania, Levente's native land. The tracks lead the
listener from the ambience of the urban environment
through peaceful, but often grandious landscapes to an
ethereal mountain summit, by the means of sonic
landscapes that vary from symphonic and electronic
passages to meditative New Age harmonies, with many
Hungarian folk influences present in the musical
discourse.
Gunther G. from TheGlobalMuse.com
wrote: "The musical beauty of this album is awe-inspiring.
Each composition is a masterful innovation. The moods and
inspirational sounds are moving and relaxing to listen to.
The songs are complex yet easy to listen to. Levente
breathes his inspiration into each one of his
compositions creating a thirst for more that few
listeners can resist. I was taken away by the soulful
sounds of this music. I love music that allows me to sit
back and let my mind drift away, and this CD did just
that."
"It is astonishing to have such reactions to the
album...", wrote Levente, "Creating the CD from
the first imagined sounds to the last fader tweaks was an
amazing adventure, and it was a wild ride, from the first
demo to a publishing deal, then the Elite Artist award,
all within 4 months." The album already had several
radio airplays in Hungary and Romania.
"The best in all this is to have
people contacting you and telling you how inspirational
this music was for them", continues Levente. "I
always preferred electronic music that has considerable
emotional content. This album, inspired by native
landscapes, including folk elements, was always hoped to
be something like that. Now, based on the reactions and
reviews that I am receiving, I believe SOUNDeSCAPES
succeeded to be a soulful synthesizer album."
