Since 1966, first as military and then as civilians, we had homes from Swindon to Singapore, Brands Hatch, Kent to St Agulf, France. Fortunately, as tenants in Army quarters, we found the Forces to be fair agents, organising repairs or repainting and checking inventories. The picture was not such a happy one as a private householder working away from home. We soon realised the importance of a small, local and personal property management agency.
