Before the nightmare
Just before the Stroke, I was a single parent with two lads to bring up plus working for a large restaurant chain & running the house plus a car. There never seemed to be enough hours in the day. I was wearing many different hats mother, restaurant manageress, D.I.Y expert, car mechanic, in fact Head Cook & Bottle washer.
Chris & Jon are now 21 & 18 years old respectively. The eldest (Chris) lives in Wiltshire & Jon is lives near by with his father & his father's new wife Carol. December is a very busy time in the catering trade as you can imagine so as usual I was running about like someone with 2 heads. Two days before the Stroke I had a mole removed by laser at a plastic surgery hospital. The mole was on my left temple , so at the time of the stroke it was covered with a wad badges. Medical personnel assured me that a laser gun going into the side of my skull was of no consequence! ! !
