200 CLUB

Ever since the early days in a wooden hut Highbury Theatre Centre has been expanding to meet the needs of its membership.

The next ambitious development is planned as the upgrade of the Front of House and administrative areas.

On the ground floor it is planned to integrate the Coffee Shop and Bar into a larger, more comfortable area and to provide a meeting or rehearsal room and additional toilets.

On the first floor will be a modernised committee meeting room, company offices, storage space and Archives.

The existing first floor kitchen, toilets and mens wardrobe areas will be refurbished.

The cost of this exciting project is estimated at around £400,000 and as part of their fundraising initative in 2004 the Highbury Theatre Centre Friends have launched the 200 CLUB for Highbury Theatre Centre Audience and Highbury Players members.

Application forms for membership of the 200 CLUB are available from Highbury Theatre Centre.

The annual subscription of £7.00 per year is payable by Standing Order. Prizes of £30, £20, and £10 will be drawn at the end of each of the seven Highbury Players Main House productions. A special Christmas draw with prizes of £100, £50 and £25 will be made each year.

Draws will commence in 2004 when 100 members have joined the 200 CLUB.
