Chairman's Report

TWO NEW ACTIVITIES FOR YOUTH AT HIGHBURY.
CLASS ACT DRAMA SCHOOL

Class Act are an established professional drama school who use Highbury Theatre for their main play productions. They have their main school in Unit 236, The Custard Factory, Digbeth, B9 4AA. They cater for 6 to 18 year olds with a range of abilities and are to open a branch school here at Highbury on Saturday mornings starting in September 2001.

DANCE~FORCE
Dance~Force who specialise in Freestyle(Disco) and Streetdancing are to open a Saturday morning Dance Studio at Highbury commencing 1st September 2001. Still going strong in 2005!!!
Classes will be:-
10am-12pm - Advanced Freestyle, Disco and Streetdancing - £3 per hour
£5 for 2 hours
12pm - 1pm - Advanced Cheerleading - £4 per lesson

CROSSROADS TV 5.03.2001:
Good Press coverage has been received following our publicising that we own parts of the origional Crossroads TV set. Local and National newspapers have shown photographs of the set, Highbury Workshops and the Day Crew. There was a short TV news item on Carlton News.

Highbury Youth Theatre 
The Youth Theatre are going on tour in aid of local charities. Their version of Alladin will be performed at Emmanuel Church, Wylde Green on 20 January 2001, Boldmere School on 27 January and Hollyfield School on 3 February 2001.
