Good Books for the learner Motorcyclist
The following books are published by the Driving Standards Agency DSA:
If you want a good book on the subject try The Motorcycling Manual (ISBN 0-11-552193-3). This book is great, even for people who already know how to ride and those "Born again" bikers.
For beginners try the Official CBT book for motorcycles (ISBN 0-11-552192-5). This will give you an idea of what to expect when you turn up at the training course.
The Know your signs (ISBN 0-11-551612-3) book would be useful for test. This has a lot more signs in than the Highway Code book.
The Official Theory Test (ISBN 0-11-552196-8) will be very useful reading before the theory test. It actually has all the questions you are likely to be asked, it even has all the answers!
Of course you must read The Highway Code book (ISBN 0-11-551977-7)
For a slightly more advanced rider try the Motorcycle Road craft handbook
I would advise any learner motorcyclists to buy any or even all of these books if they could afford to, of course we are not all lottery winners, but you could find these books in the library, and if they don't have them they will definitely be able to order them in especially for you.
If you know any good more good books, please let me know and I will include them also.
