Welcome to the Home Page of Christine & Alan Johnson |

We are a family of two parents (Alan and Christine), six children (Paul,
Judith, Ralph, Douglas, Jenny and Natalie). Two of our children are married,
three others have moved away and one is living at home. We live in Farnborough,

We
have many interests. Currently our main interest is that of helping those
affected by dyslexia. We have set up the Farnborough
Dyslexia & Learning Centre in our home, based on computers and a
multi-media, multi-sensory program we have written called SureSpell
with exercises and procedures by DysCypher.
There have been so many people who have dyslexia, ADHD, learning difficulties
or who just want to improve their reading and spelling who have been interested
in the help we offer that we have to expand considerably to cope with the
demand.
We
are members of the Church
of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and have many interests
associated with the church including our family and genealogy
(family history). We are part of the Farnborough Ward.

Alan J K Johnson
Born in West Byfleet, Surrey, England.
Schools and colleges included St James Primary School in Northampton, Helesden
Secondary Modern in Norwich, 'The School' in Wellingborough, Northants, Eng.
(1955 – 1961), Farnborough College of Technology, Kingston College of
Technology.
Served an Apprenticeship (1961 – 1966) at the Royal Aircraft Establishment in
Farnborough (changed name to DERA then QinetiQ)
Stayed with MoD and joined AQD, transferred to EQD and then to D/ARadio, joined
D/CIS(Eng), became part of D/ISIS and then retired. Joined Reference
Information systems.
With Christine, managed the setting up and running of the Farnborough Dyslexia
& Learning Centre
