1887: Administration granted to Emma Crean (her daughter) of 14 South
Parade, Fulham Road on 26 August. Eliza was late of 15 South Parade, a
widow. The administration refers to a will which failed to name any
executors. There is a copy of the Admon in the file.
Eliza made her will on 4 May 1881. She left all her goods chattels and
money to her eldest daughter Emma Archer (as she then was). She left her
clothes to her daughter Ada Wager.
The will was witnessed by James Wager and Arthur Ward Arnold.

"Sacred/to the memory of/Mr ROBERT KING of this parish/who departed this life/
on the 19th February 1817"

On 17 May 1769 Robt King was admitted on the surrender of Wm Cowell Tenant
of a messuage called Harts & Barn, Stables Outhouses Buildings Yards Gardens
Orchard & Appurtenances at Nazeing Woodgate & also 4 pieces of Land totalling
two-and-a-half acres in a Common Mead called Nazeing Mead, and then in the
occupation of Robert King.
On 5 June 1805 Robert King surrendered the Tenancy
At this court (i.e. 1817) William King and Thomas King, Brewers, two of the
sons of Robert King bring the probate of his last will and testament dated
13 June 1815 ... 'I also give & devise unto my said two sons William and Thomas
King all that said messuage 'Harts' and known by the sign of the King Harold's Head
at Nazeing Park Gate and in the occupation of their brother Robert King.......
charge of ú300 to my daughter Sarah the wife of Thomas Reynolds of Nazeing, Labourer,
by weekly payments of 7/- a week to be paid to the said Sarah Reynolds on Saturday
every week. If she dies before the ú300 is exhausted, the rest is to go to her
