AGILITY
STARTERS AGILITY
Anyone wanting to teach their dog(s) Agility will need several introductory lessons to learn how to negotiate the equipment. Some control training may also be necessary.
Once the dog has mastered the basic skills, an Agility Course could be joined.
AGILITY COURSE
Nine week Course offering further experience and practice in Agility, for handlers who have already learned how to negotiate the equipment and have an adequate standard of obedience training.
Although the Course will consist primarily of Agility skills, there will be some emphasis on control training as well, as this is essential to Agility.

One of our Agility Teams won the Welsh Challenge Shield.
From left to right they are: Hilary Warren, Rita Rogers, Linda Thomas, Thelma Anslow and Jane Whitehead.
AGILITY CLUB
This is a very popular Thursday evening outdoor activity which takes place from May to October - in other words, whenever it is light enough - and is available to anyone who has already learned how to negotiate all the different types of agility equipment and can complete a full agility round.

People on holiday in the area are always welcome to come along with their dogs either to watch or to take part but please telephone first for times and directions.

FLYBALL
This is a sport consisting of relay races between teams of four dogs. Each dog races up over 4 small hurdles, obtains a ball from a spring-loaded box, and returns over the jumps. It is a very popular and exciting sport, and we offer the opportunity to learn it on some Agility courses.
