At GSC I developed and performed a show Where's Your Head At?, all about your brain and what you can do with it. This show involved all the best visual demonstrations and psychology activities that I know about, including:
- Volunteers playing catch with a ball while wearing prism glasses.
- A wonderful lightness constancy demonstration based on one by Alan Gilchrist.
- People trying to stand on one leg with their eyes closed - and discovering that you use your vision to balance.
- A video made of a person who is invisible except for lights on their joints. When the person is still, you can't tell that there is a person there, but as soon as they move, they are obviously a person, and you can tell what they are doing. I made this video with Steve Owens.
- Revolting pictures of brains.
The title of the show was chosen for me. Apparently it's the name of a song. Some kind of music that young people listen to, I think.
