Around 25 people are taking part in this charity tandem parachute jump to raise money for the children's charity based in Midhurst. They include Spirit FM Drivetime Presenter Bernard Allen.

Free falling from around 3 miles up (approx. 14500 feet) he dropped at an average speed of 118 mph reaching a scary 132 mph top speed!

Once the parachute opened after that, there followed a more relaxing five minute descent back to earth!

The jumps are taking place at the oldest parachute club in the world - The Army Parachute Association based at Netheravon, north of Salisbury.

Keep an eye on this page for more pictures, audio and video of this amazing experience. And of course to find out how much money we raise for this superb charity!
