JUST A FEW PHOTOGRAPHS

This is some of the more adventurous letterboxing gang which meet at Fur Tor (North) every News Years day at around 10am. There is an alternative meet nearer the road at Fur tor (South) on the South of Dartmoor where the less adventurous letterboxers go. These meets are usually concluded in our local pubs such as the Dolphin Hotel at Bovey Tracey where various amounts of invigorating liquids are consumed! The above pictures were all taken at this years meet 01/01/2000 - The first meet this millennium

Me, Sam and Martin, (He's the one taking the photo and is the one in the above photo alone on top of Fur Tor looking for some divine intervention to help him find some of Roy Carpenter's boxes)! We were the first persons on Cut Hill and Fur Tor this millennium.

Thats me in the middle with the silly hat! I am sat on Redlake tip with my friends Sam and Rose alias The Pink Panthers and Vyv one of the real old original letterboxers alias Jude The Obscure.

Those boxers that venture out into the real wilderness will recognise this wonderful mass of rocks known as Cut Hill outcrop. A feature in many letterbox clues.
