Bungay's season started with a charity tournament. Generously sponsored by Parravani's Ice Cream, 36 club members joined in for some early season practice and competition on a sunny Saturday afternoon. In the final Club President Frank Honeywood, playing with Reg Brinded and Ruby Fairhead, beat Club Secretary Ian Gosling, Jim Reid and Joyce Clarke by 10 shots to 4. After an excellent buffet Paul and Sharon Parravani presented a cheque to the chairman of Bungay Area Community Transport, John Palin this year's nominated charity.
