John McDonald (left) 23 years old
A graduate with passing honors, having studied at Leicester University and now working full time as a technician at the university. Mountain biker who loves you to eat his dirt, and is known for his beer drinking habits. Good conversationalist. Otherwise known as JMC.
Steve Biggs (second from left) 24 years old
IT Executive for Tesco following his graduation in 1997, although this has changed to the web design team recently. Member of local running club and mountain biker plus the odd bit of walking, well he did do the tour of Mount Blanc in '97. Also acclaimed beer drinker.
Dan Ball (center) 22 years old
Was a student undertaking a Furniture and Related Product Design degree course at Ravensbourne College, Chislehurst in Kent, which to our delight has achieved a BA Honors in July 2000, and now in full time employment, first port of call The Conran Shop. Avid mountain biker when he gets time and into the latest trends (what do you expect from a design student). Walking the Munros of Scotland and cycling where possible. Our trained bike mechanic. Not a beer drinker (has to be cider instead).
Nick Bauer (second from right) 29 years old
Self Employed Landscape Gardener/Tree Surgery. Roadie and mountain biker. Munro bagger when he gets the chance to, claiming the two highest peaks of Scotland for starters (well make that three now). Have also branched out to walking and biking in the Lake District having walked up Scarfell Pike four times in four different weather conditions, once during the night!!. Cider drinker as with Dan.
Dave Allaway (right) 35 years old
Systems Engineer. Keen mountain biker along with walking. Belongs to local running club and competes at a high standard along with triathlons. Always ready for quick up and go adventure weekends, as long as there is a pub on the trip for our big beer drinker.
And of course not forgetting Roger Biggs (age withheld)
