HARLOW VOICEWORKS ACADEMY
This new choir for keen singers aged
7 -13 was established in January 2005 by Janette Ruocco, Vocal and Choral
Development Manager for Essex Music Services, following a series of highly
successful workshops in Harlow primary schools. Rehearsals take place during
school terms on Mondays from 4.30pm to 5.30pm at Burnt Mill School. Sessions are
currently free to singers attending Harlow schools.

Guest Tutor for the above sessions will be Peter Lemer:
Peter has become an integral part of the British jazz scene since the
1960's, he has worked with Harry Becket's Joy Unlimited, The Spontaneous
Music Ensemble, Gilgamesh, Gong, The Baker-Gurvitz Army, Seventh Wave,
Mike
Oldfield and more recently with In Cahoots and Barbara Thompson's
Paraphernalia. Currently Peter is working with his own quartet which
includes Roger Odell, Billy Thompson and Steve Cook - cutting edge music not
to be missed.
