Sea mat
Description:At the tide mark on the beach, the accumulated flotsam and jetsam includes large quantities of palmate dried leaves that hint at a seaweed. In fact these fronds are formed by a colony of microscopic organisms. Each little cell above held one individual that strained nutrients out of the sea that washed over it. |
