Jo O'Meara is about to release her own solo single 'Different Kind of People' will be out in the shops from September. But don't fear she is NOT leaving the band, and they are still going strong, about to release a single, album, new series Viva S Club, a movie and a tour next year.
S Club 7 singer Paul Cattermole is quitting the group for a solo career, but the rest of the group are to carry on. His departure comes as the rest of the band resigned their deal with both their management company and record label, which will make each of the members a millionaire. The band will carry on under the name S Club and he will remain with them for the next few months to work on their fourth TV series. He's last performance was at the Queen's Golden Jubilee concert at Buckingham Palace. Paul said: "I've had some of the best times of my life over the past four years with S Club and I'd like to thank all my fans for that and also the other six guys. "It will be a sad day for all of us when I leave and I'll really miss not being with them every day - they are my best mates. I've reached a point in my life where I'd like to experiment in different types of music as a solo artist. I love S Club to bits and I know they'll continue to be hugely successful. I'll be watching them every step of the way and wish them all the best."
Jo has called off her marriage to Lee, Jo said "We’re still together. We had problems over Christmas and wanted to ease the pressure. I’m sure we’ll get married but not yet" Jo has always been very protective of Lee, who she met before S Club hit the big time. She has never revealed his surname and is rarely pictured with him. So now only Rachel is engaged
Back though to come better news... Well done to SC7 as they have won another Brit award for Best single for Don't Stop Movin' and have just scooped best show award too!
They also have won best tour award and once again Rachel has been voted for the 2nd Sexiest woman in FHM, with Hannah being 15th and Tina being 57th.
Their new video's of Hollywood7 is out on the 29th April, the tour is out on November this year, the fourth album, which will probably still feature Paul will be coming out later this year, also a new book will be released in October.
The video and DVD of SC7 Carnival was shot at London Arena, so if you were there you never know you may in the great video, out later this year and even if you aren't you got to see the outstanding show, if anyone has anything they would like to say about the show, you can always add it to the message board and I am sure we will all like to hear what you thought of the tour.
The first ever baby pictures have now been released in their new book called 7 Heaven which is available now, check out the cute baby pictures while you have the chance the book is selling quickly!
