COBDEN HOTEL

| Birmingham? Now you're
talking. One of the most bustling
cities in Britain. Full of exhibitions at
the NEC and meetings at the International
Convention Centre. Amidst all the
hubbub, though, you may well prefer a
quiet hotel - like the Quality Hotel,
Cobden (until the Buffy lot get there of
course *g*). You're still well
situated for both city and country -
Stratford, the Cotswolds, the
Potteries. But in its own
landscaped grounds, you have unexpected
peace. A great deal of what you
fancy. It's not expensive and there
are 230 rooms. Restful, with
en-suite facilities, all rooms have a
colour TV with satellite, free tea and
coffee whenever you want to make it,
hairdryers and direct dial telephones and
a radio alarm clock. Premier Plus
rooms are better still; with teletext TV,
mini-bar, trouser press, personal
toiletries and a welcome drink. The
Pavilion Restaurant and the Terrace Bar
have been refurbished and the food is
great. You've also a splendid free
Leisure Club while you stay; pool, sauna,
steam room, aquaspa, gym and solarium.
And with plenty of free car
parking, it's the best value in town.
Easy access from the motorway. |
