Quote
from Mike Greenwood:-
"I have a Bermudan Yawl daysailer based on the Drascombe Longboat
built by Norman Whyte formerly of Findhorn in 1990. The design was approved
by John Watkinson. It has a fixed keel with 300lbs of lead ballast, Bermudan
rig with booms on mainsail and mizzen, has a masthead jib with roller
reefing, has a foredeck and is partially decked aft. LOA 21'6" Beam 6'7"
and Draft 4'. The sail area is the same as the original. It is superbly
built from Brunzeel 10mm ply lapstrake epoxied and has sitka spruce spars."
Later quote from Mike Greenwood:-
"I attach latest photos of Beeswing. Last Winter I had a wood epoxy
cabin built by John S Hill boatbuilder at Fairlie. It now has 2 berths,
cooker, washbasin, toilet and a reasonable amount of storage and stowage."
