Quote from Doug Elliott:-
"Here's another one for your website, it's 'Little Mo' a Drascombe
Skiff with a rather unusual one off rig, a battened loose footed gunter
main on a curved yard with a lightweight boom. We built this one in 1976
(I think) for David Gallop, she was named after his wife Maureen. About
3 years previously we had built the Drascombe Lugger 'Captain Morgan'(named
after his favourite tipple)for him, which he subsequently sold and this
was the boat he chose as a replacement, not sure where she is now and
cannot remember the name she was given. David lived at Brixton near Plymouth
and mostly sailed on the upper reaches of the River Yealm."
