From A9-on arriving at Inverness keep on the main bypass (A9 to Wick) until you see the signs for Fort William A82.


Take this route down Longman road,across Friars bridge,following on down Kenneth Street.


At lights here turn left down Tomnahurich Street towards the river.
When you reach Ness Bridge don't cross but turn right down Ness Walk and follow along this west bank of the river.

You can reach Inverness by plane( Inverness Airport is seven miles from the city centre) or by train or bus(railway and bus stations a very short taxi ride from the apartment) or by car via the A9 or A82.

Skye and the scenic west are an easy day trip from Inverness.
