The Assessment Process

Crown Lodge staff undertake detailed assessments which are comprehensive, including physical, medical, psychiatric, nursing and psychological investigation. This process includes contributions from all those who play a part in caring for the patient. From the initial assessment, intended treatment aims and outcomes are identified, with an emphasis on implementing a programme that facilitates rehabilitation.

Continuing contact is maintained with the referring agency and the model of care programming is used in support care and treatment.
