First published in 1992 this 124 page book provides guidance in tracing army ancestors. It covers the period 1660 to World War 1, a slightly narrower period than that addressed by the PRO's books, but it does not limit itself to material held by the PRO. The book is subdivided into 4 major sections namely:

	Officers - prior to 1914		Other Ranks - prior to 1914
	Other Sources - prior to 1914		World War 1 Records

The book is presently out-of-print but we are working on a revised edition at the moment.
