We try to make sure that our clients have no nasty surprises – apart perhaps from what the records may reveal about their ancestors! We try very hard to let you know:

  -   what the work may cost,
  -   how long it will take,
  -   the chances of success,  and
  -   what sort of information the records are likely to reveal.

How long will the work take?

diary  We aim to complete your work, and dispatch your report, within 4 weeks after receipt of your payment. If we believe that this will not be possible then we will let you know, normally before we accept your work. If we discover a potential and unavoidable delay then we will let you know as soon as possible and, as appropriate, report on the work so far.

Reports etc. are normally sent by regular mail (air mail, if overseas).
Chris has fax facilities and can, if you wish, fax your report to you – but there will be an extra charge to cover this cost – photocopies can not normally be sent satisfactorily in this way. Both Chris and Michael use e-mail to seek clarification, to keep you informed on progress and to send reports if they are simple.
