Offroad Training

Weekend courses for those interested in learning basic and intermediate mountain biking skills are being offered by CTC. The courses are run by a team of experienced male and female instructors and are based at Avon Tyrrel, the UK youth activity centre in the New Forest. CTC supplies everything including the loan of a high end Marin Bike. Those new to the sport are taught basic skills including bike safety and trail etiquette, whilst the more experienced are taught how to tackle drop-offs and bomb holes. Some women only sessions.

CTC is also running a series of mountain bike holidays in different destinations; they are fully supported and led by very experienced tour leaders. More information from the CTC holiday website
