Lift the lid and you'll see the wiring on the top deck. These wires are fragile and can easily break off making the task of knowing where to solder them back on again is quite a job. This is where I guess many customised Compacts originate.
Lift the chassis out of the case, look round the back and this is
what you see. The boards held in by that red stripe are the oscillator
boards. The ones to the right are various filters and such.
In the bottom right compartment are the connections to the lead to the power supply.
Good close up showing the zener diode and main smoothing capacitor (left most cylindrical object) which is a likely candidate for drying out.
And now that power supply... the square metal box houses the mains
transformer, the object at the bottom with the two wires running down is
the spring reverb unit and that circuit is as defined in the F/AR circuit
diagram available elsewhere on this site.
Same again different angle...
..and what happens behind the knobs.
Under the main organ lid is the space for the bass pedals and the swell pedal. There are some clips to hold them in place. The black plastic cover is let drop to show the swell/pedals, it normally folds to cover them up.
